SOLD: I don’t know how I ended up with such a huge number of sharpening stones. No one needs as many as I have. So I’d like to get them in the hands of woodworkers who will use them. I have several Norton waterstones, which cut fast and leave a nice surface.
Here we have a combination stone — #1,000 on one face and #8,000 on the other. Lots and lots of life left on both grits. This is the stone for those woodworkers who subscribe to David Charlesworth’s sharpening methods, as it skips the #4,000 grit stone completely.
This works. It really really does. But you might get the intermediate #4,000 stone for setting up new tools. You don’t really need it for maintenance.

If you don’t like the tool when you get it, I’ll be happy to refund your money if you return the tool. But postage is on you.
