Chrome Maintenance
A SIMPLE GUIDE TO CARING FOR YOUR CHROME PRODUCTS
About The Finish
Suitability
Suitable for interior and exterior use.
As this finish is unlacquered, it will age and tarnish over time. This process will happen more quickly if fitted outside, but due to the solid brass base of Polished Chrome fittings, your pieces won’t rust or corrode.
Maintenance
To keep fittings looking bright and shiny, we recommend regular polishing with a good silver polish (such as Silvo or Autosol) and a soft, dry cloth. This will remove any tarnishing and build-up form the surface of the Chrome, and restore products to their original shine.
Top Tips
Avoid using abrasive cloths on Polished Chrome, as this can scratch the polished surface.
